About the show

Lebanese stand-up comic Habib Siam presents "truthfully" - a stand-up comedy fundraiser for emergency Lebanon relief.

In the wake of devastating nation-wide attacks, Lebanon is facing an unprecendented crisis. Thousands of casulaties with an estimated 1,000,000 displaced people - over 20% of the total population.

As a comic, Habib has always used his stand-up to help raise awareness about the situation in the Middle East - expering war, navigating dissonante realities, and making sense of a world that is increasingly uncrecognizable.

Fundraising efforts

Habib started organizing emergency fundraising shows and launched a GoFundMe to help raise additional funds.

To date, the fundraising efforts have helped secure $11,450 in donations.

About Habib

Born on Christmas day, a stone’s throw from Bethlehem, Habib thought he was the second coming and almost entered priesthood. Several countries and questionable life decisions later, he completed a Ph.D. at McGill University only to start doing stand-up.

Habib currently splits his time between Canada and Lebanon, and may (definitely) own more shoes than anyone you know.
