Harri Soinila is a Finnish comedian with Finnish problems like having to talk to strangers for a living while Finnish. And now he’s bringing those problems to you, Canada!
One of Finland’s most internationally successful comedians, Harri has headlined shows from Edinburgh to Casablanca and from Rio de Janeiro to Tallinn, and appeared at European comedy Festivals like Ljubljana’s PANČ, The Barcelona Comedy Festival, The Liverpool Comedy Festival, Helsinki’s Arctic Laughs and The East European Comedy Festival in London, among others. He’s been on Finnish TV and Maltese radio, and he represented Finland at Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World. He also warmed up for the Canadian mega star Russell Peters on his European tour in 2022.
Unusually open for a Finn, Harri’s first full English language solo talks about being Finnish, drinking and especially the Finnish drinking. The show could be seen as a gentle critique of certain aspects of Finnish culture as contrasted with the culture of his Brazilian wife and the world, but first and foremost it's a laughter-filled hour of jokes and wittiness. And there's a really funny bit about dogs. A short segment in Finnish will follow.
His observational comedy has been described as dark humor with a golden heart and sometimes the other way around.

Funny, relevant and a little absurd, Jeremy finds common ground for funny and stakes out hilarity like a gold prospector, claiming nuggets of laughter as his prize! He tours coast to coast in the clubs, pubs, and legions of Canada as well as internationally. He has been featured at the Sled Island, Winnipeg Comedy and SF Sketchfest festivals. In 2021 he recorded a televised Gala for the CBC. His premier comedy album "Pocket Scientist" was released fall of 2022 and is available where you stream your music.
