Stand Up Comedy Class (Tuesday Nights)

Pierre Brault is offering a 6-week program to introduce you to the world of Stand-Up comedy at Absolute Comedy in Ottawa. Experience the thrill of performing a LIVE COMEDY set, right on the stage at Absolute.

This fun, relaxed, and informative course will cover all the basics of conceiving, writing and performing a stand-up comedy set. From novices to amateurs to semi-pros, this class is for anyone who wants to experience the adrenaline rush of live performance.

We will cover...

• Finding and creating your own original material and joke structure.
• Developing a stage persona that reflects your unique character.
• Overcoming stage fright and writers block.
• Performance; What to expect up there.

 ...all in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Whether to check it off your bucket list or in preparation for a full comedy career, this course will let you STAND UP, and be heard.

Taught by veteran Headliner, Ottawa's own Pierre Brault.
