Stand-up at the Subway Comedy Festival - Dan Tiernan Edinburgh Preview

Step underground into the hidden venue beneath Crystal Palace Park to enjoy a line-up of comedians with awards, cult-followings and punchlines aplenty.

With eleven shows over four days, grab your tickets for a celebration of laughter in the iconic Crystal Palace Subway.

Dan Tiernan

Dan Tiernan is one of the UK’s fastest-rising stand-up comedians. His latest show All In enjoyed a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for Best Comedy Show, following his acclaimed previous shows Stomp and Going Under, the latter earning a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and recorded for BBC Radio 4.

Dan has performed at major international festivals including Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs Montreal New Faces. His TV appearances include Live at the Apollo, QI, The Last Leg and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

He is the winner of BBC New Comedian of the Year and British Comedian of the Year, and was described by The Guardian as “raucously entertaining.”

Doors open at 5.30pm and the event closes at 7.40pm

Closest public transport is Crystal Palace Bus Station (3 minutes walk) or Crystal Palace Train Station (10 minutes walk uphill)

The Subway does not have its own toilets but clean portaloo facilities will be available
