MEET YOUR HOST: BOBBY BROWN JR.
Jacksonville native Bobby Brown Jr. brings serious comedy credentials back home as the host of STAND UP AT THE BLOCK.
Bobby got his start in comedy in 2018 before working his way through Florida’s open-mic circuit and into The Comedy Zone where he now regularly hosts and performs. Bobby opens for nationally touring headliners and interviews visiting comedians on The Bobby Brown Podcast.
Since then, Bobby has shared stages and worked with some of comedy’s biggest names, including Ali Siddiq, Roy Wood Jr., Kam Patterson and Shane Gillis. He has performed multiple times at the legendary Hollywood Laugh Factory, appeared on K*ll Tony, and was selected for the 2024 Moontower Comedy Festival, where Roy Wood Jr. personally chose Bobby to open his show at Austin’s historic Paramount Theatre. Bobby was also selected to open for Kam Patterson at the 2024 Netflix Is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles.
Now Bobby brings that experience—and his Jacksonville roots—to STAND UP AT THE BLOCK, helping us build a new home for live comedy right here in Jax.
