Curated by the emerging Visual Arts Group 'Audacious Hearts'.
"Stand Up Against ICE" is a collective art action confronting the presence and power of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) through sculptural intervention.
With works created by artists you know & love from the Sioux Falls Visual Art Scene.....these sculptures are symbols of resistance, immobility, migration, labor, borders, and refusal.
Join us for a meaningful, AND a powerful exhibition.
We have been carefully working with a select group of artists from the region, curating an event like no other.
An event you won't want to miss!
From DJ's, to dazzling performances, and a full gallery display of sculptures - created amidst these tumultuous times - the club will be filled with powerful art, meaningful conversations, you may even get to meet some of the artists behind the sculptures!
The goal of this event is to create an inclusive environment for an uncomfortable topic: "What do YOU stand for?".
The goal is NOT to provoke & protest, but instead, to build peaceful resilience based in community and connection.
So, what do YOU stand for?
And are you AUDACIOUS enough to shout it from the roof tops.
It is time to GET LOUD my friends.
We will no longer stand idly by.
Proceeds from this exhibit (BOTH from the art call, and any subsequent sales that are not retained by the artists' themselves) will be donated to local groups related with those adversely impacted by ICE efforts. SD Voices for Peace will be the main recipient for this fundraising event.

I am A.L. Art & Prints owner & artist, Alex Lunstra, founder of Audacious Hearts. I have a stunning team of artists helping turn this into a magnificent event, there will be art - there will be drinks - there will be dazzling performances!
So what exactly is this event all about?
Let's start from the beginning.
A little while ago - I found a stash of mannequins for sale online...
That sparked an idea, one that could make a difference - right here in Sioux Falls.
I asked my friends & business associates - fellow trusted creatives within the community...
They came in with the same passion.
What Started as a group chat question between friends has spiraled into something new.
Something big.
Something hopeful, shining brightly amidst the doomscrolling.
We’re sick of watching helplessly as our neighbors fight back against ICE and the fascist regime.
So we’ve become something…. Audacious.
Fighting evil the only way we know how…
Through love, with Art.
