Stan Matwin: a celebration of his career and contributions
Join us for a special event honoring the remarkable achievements of Dr. Stan Matwin. Stan will be retiring this year, and this in-person gathering will be held at the University of Ottawa, Colonel By Hall room CBY A707. If Stan has been a part of your life, and you want to see him in person before he retires (and if you can make it to Ottawa), don't miss this opportunity. There will be some speeches, some light catering, and some time to chat. We are inviting people who were some of Stan's major collaborators and colleagues to say a few words at this event to reflect on their appreciation for Stan's work, to recollect some of the highlights of working with Stan, or to describe how Stan has added value to their own work and career in research. Doors open at 1:15. Speeches at 2:00. Hosted by the Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University, and co-sponsored by The Canadian Artificial Intelligence Association (CAIAC).
