Stalker (1979) + Bergen Offentlig Bibliotek

Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker (1979) follows three men as they journey into the mysterious Zone. Slow, atmospheric, and deeply philosophical, the film lures you in with the science-fiction premise only to turn it into a meditation on faith and human desire. Slow, almost hypnotic, cinematography, the sense of mystery, and the feeling of doom, all make Stalker a truly rewarding experience.
