Workshop presented by Emilie Shipman-Wight of Feather and Fibres and Meghan Murphy of Meghan’s Glass Creations.Learn the basics of stained glass, enjoy a creative evening and leave with a finished honeycomb!
After choosing 7 pre-cut hexagons to arrange in your own design, we will walk you through the process of applying copper foil, solder and patina. Finally, polish will finish the piece and make it shine! For a taste of the full stained glass process, you will have a chance to cut and grind a piece of glass.
All materials and equipment are provided. No previous experience is required. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
Gloves will be provided. You may choose to bring a work apron to protect your clothing.
*Food and beverages are not permitted within the workshop area for safety reasons. Water
may be kept in a designated area away from soldering stations
