Welcome to Tulsa Stained Glass, Tulsa’s oldest and most authentic stained glass studio. What started as a home-based family business is now a Tulsa institution. Celebrating 50 years in business still under the original ownership, we are the stained glass experts and love sharing the craft with our community. You are invited to experience one of Tulsa’s most entertaining and innovative events.

About the Class

Perfect for ages 15 and up, this is a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you can be creative and express yourself. Enjoy this event solo, or with friends and family, discovering the art of stained glass and design. Make and take home a beautiful leaded stained glass suncatcher in this fun 3-hour event. Make whatever your imagination can create! If you're a little low on inspiration, we’re happy to help you bring your vision to life.

Mosaic Option: As an alternative, stained glass mosaic projects are an option for younger participants or for anyone who would like to create a unique lead-free piece of art.

Learn the ancient secrets of the stained glass process, including its history, how glass is made, the window making process, design fundamentals and many other interesting facts. Then try your hand at using our tools & materials to make your project under the leadership of our experienced instructors. Activities include design, using mosaic nippers to shape glass, soldering, and assembly. Project materials, use of tools and equipment are included in the workshop price.

As an added bonus you will learn the EMOSY process…just bring an idea of what makes you happy or an event to be celebrated and we will guide you through the process of using symbolic stained glass colors and shapes to create a unique self-expressive project.

Projects made during class can be photographed at the end of class and may be included in a Tulsa Stained Glass coloring book.

Rage Room Experience

All classes include Rage Room smashing. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing multiplied blessings or riddance of ill feelings.

The Fine Print:

• Closed toe shoes required. Glass or hot solder + feet = ouch! Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants. Photos and/or videos of you and your project may be used for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms. If you wish to be excluded, please notify us at check in.

• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 rescheduling fee per person. • Doors open 30 minutes prior to class time to allow for socialization and to warm up by coloring in our Project Coloring Books. Classes begin promptly at time shown.

• All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket.

Add-On Options:

Garden Sculpture Stake - Plant your project in a flower pot or your garden with a metal stake for only $10. Please note that this option is completed at the conclusion of the class.

Students are invited to visit our attached studio at the conclusion of class for a Studio Tour and to learn more about the craft.
