Create gorgeous simple leadlight suncatchers with Lisa Sinclair.A super fun day-class, ideal as a stand-alone experience, or as a day to get stuck into projects with your tutor at hand.
Beginners choose from a range of achievable patterns and choose their colour palette. They will learn to cut the glass, and prepare it before foiling and soldering each piece, creating a simple elegant colourful glass project.
The aim of this one day class is to leave with a completed small leadlight glass item.
More experienced students may bring existing projects to work on in class - though emphasis will be placed on focusing on the same techniques of flat, nicely soldered simple designs.
This is a warm and friendly class with excellent support and learning for complete beginners and more advanced students. All tools are supplied, though you are welcome to bring your own tools and glass if you have them.
Your materials for your beginner project are supplied as part of your course fee.
Additional materials and tools are available to purchase.
Not suitable for children. Older teenagers (16+) are welcome.
Workshop fee $215, Early bird $194 till 11 May.
