Stained Glass Restoration

Copper foil technique is a method used in stained glass where thin copper tape is wrapped around the edges of glass pieces, allowing them to be soldered together along the entire joint.
The technique turns cut glass pieces into a unified panel and the bases for creating intricate designs and curves. Also known as the Tiffany method, due to its popular use on Tiffany lamps as the method suits detailed patterns, small pieces, and flowing curves because every glass edge can be wrapped independently.
Biography:
South Bristol's finest, architectural stained glass artist Dora McCormack is known for her restoration work across the UK. Key works included Wells Catherdral, St Mary Redcliffe Church, and North Streets, Lounge. This workshop will be carried out in Dora's new studio in the heart of Bristol's waterside. Space is limited to 10 persons standing.
