Stained Glass Event + Smash - Mother's Day!

About the Class

Treat Mom to her favorite gift - time spent with you! And a free coloring book!

In this fun 3-hour event, make and take home a beautiful leaded stained glass EMOSY-style project that you design yourself! You’ll choose from a treasure trove of stained glass pieces to inspire your creativity and bring your vision to life. It’s easy and stress free - no glass cutting or patterns. Every project is unique and creates a memory to last generations.

Mosaic Option: As an alternative, stained glass mosaic projects are an option for younger participants or for anyone who would like to create a unique lead-free piece of art.

Learn the ancient secrets of the stained glass process, including its history, how glass is made, the window making process, design fundamentals and many other interesting facts. Then try your hand at using our tools & materials to make your project under the leadership of our experienced instructors. Activities include design, using mosaic nippers to shape glass, soldering, and assembly. Project materials, use of tools and equipment are included in the workshop price.

As an added bonus you will learn the EMOSY process…just bring an idea of what makes you happy or an event to be celebrated and we will guide you through the process of using symbolic stained glass colors and shapes to create a unique self-expressive project.

Projects made during class can be photographed at the end of class and may be included in a Tulsa Stained Glass coloring book.

Rage Room Experience

All classes include Rage Room smashing. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing multiplied blessings or riddance of ill feelings.

EMOSY Art Club

Introducing the EMOSY Art Club! Now’s a great opportunity to join a group of like-minded creative souls to create self-expressive art and learn more about yourself and others. Explore and Create/Art Club classes are offered for fun activities and exploration at special membership ticket prices. The best part? The Fine Print:

• Closed toe shoes required. Glass or hot solder + feet = ouch! Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants. Photos and/or videos of you and your project may be used for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms. If you wish to be excluded, please notify us at check in.

• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 rescheduling fee per person. • Doors open 15 minutes prior to class and classes begin promptly at time listed.

• All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket. Minimum age is 15.

Garden Sculpture Stake - Plant your project in a flower pot or your garden with a metal stake for only $10. Please note that this option is completed at the conclusion of the class.
