RTV (Road Taxed Vehicle) Trials are low-cost off-road driving competitions where drivers navigate a vehicle through a course of gates without touching or stopping at them, aiming for the lowest score by avoiding penalties. These events test vehicle and driver skill over challenging terrain like mud, hills, and gravel, using standard road-legal vehicles with no required modification beyond basic safety checks.
