Stages & Pages 2026: The Visibility Conference for Authors + Speakers
About this Event
Welcome to Stages & Pages!
Authors need stages. Speakers need books.
Almost all of us need more visibility for both.
You wrote the book, and it has been sitting there doing very little for your business since launch week. Or you have been paid to speak for years and you keep getting asked "so where can I buy your book?" by people holding a credit card.
That gap is the whole reason your visibility has stalled. It is not your message. It is not your work ethic. You built one half of the visibility engine and never had a room that would help you build the other half.
Stages & Pages is that room.
Three days. 120 women. One very specific job.
October 15 to 17, 2026 on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Co-hosted by Alexa Bigwarfe of the Women in Publishing Summit and April Adams Pertuis of LIGHTbeamers, two women who have spent a combined 20-plus years getting authors and speakers seen, booked, and paid.
You walk in with a book, a keynote, or a coaching business.
You walk out with stages booked, the next book moving, and a network of women playing the same game at the same level.
What you leave with
- A pitch you have actually said out loud to someone who books speakers
- A book-to-stage plan that turns the book you already wrote into a booking engine
- Face time with publishers, PR firms, podcast agencies, and launch partners who are actively taking on new clients
- Your book on the author showcase wall, in front of the room, all day Thursday
- Hot-seat coaching on the specific thing that is stuck
- A curated network of 120 women, which is small enough that you will actually remember their names
Who this room is for
- Published authors ready to turn the book into stages, fees, and a media platform that pays back the years you spent writing it
- Working speakers who know the next book multiplies both your authority and your rate
- Coaches, consultants, and experts who built the business and are done being the best-kept secret in the industry
- Anyone who is finished with conferences that promise the room and deliver a hashtag
Who it is not for
This is not a beginner conference, and we would rather tell you now than take your money.
If you have not published yet, or you are still working out your message and looking for your first paid gig, this room will move faster than is useful for you. Come find us at the Women in Publishing Summit or LIGHTbeamers first, and come to Stages & Pages the year after. We will save you a seat.
The three days
Thursday, October 15: Teaching Day Opening keynote and four teaching panels, each one a working session rather than a thought leader monologue. Live podcast recording over lunch. Author showcase wall running all day. Riverwalk reception to close, and the VIP Riverwalk dinner with hosts, speakers, and sponsors that evening.
Friday, October 16: Hands-On Tracks Three concurrent tracks so you build your own day: Speaking, Author Platform, or Content. Sponsor showcase floor over lunch with unrushed time in front of actual decision-makers.
Saturday, October 17: VIP Implementation Day (VIP ticket only) Brunch with the hosts, featured guests, and sponsors, then four hours of small-group and 1:1 implementation work. You arrive with a half-baked keynote outline or a stalled book proposal, or any other related problem you're trying to solve. You leave with it finished, or at least progress made. Wraps by 3:00 PM so you can still catch a Saturday flight.
