Based upon Delia Ephron's memoirs of the same name this one is in classic Ephron style. After Delia Ephron’s husband of more than thirty years passes away from cancer, Delia has to deal with logistical problems large and small—among them, cancelling her husband’s landline with Verizon. The frustrating experience becomes the basis of a New York Times op-ed, which in turn sends her life in totally unexpected directions.
This show is meant for a mature audience and would not be of interest to young children. Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted. Sponsored in part by Alleghany Arts Council and in collaboration with Northwest Regional Library.
