RBC Emerging Artist Program at the

2025 Stage One Festival of New Canadian Work


Please join us in the Vertigo Rehearsal Hall (our former venue) in the Tower Centre on Friday June 6 for two free readings of new Canadian plays. Each play will be followed by a talkback lead by our Artistic Director Bronwyn Steinberg.

One sign up will get you into both readings, come and go as you please.

These play readings are a non-ticketed events so there is no need to print a ticket. Patti Neice our Executive Director will be at the main doors 20 minutes before the readings begin to check you off on the RSVP list.

As these readings are non-ticketed. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the reading begins as the doors will close a minute before the reading is to begin. Apologies if you arrive late, but no one will be there to let you in.

3pm Remember That Song?

An older woman is packing up her apartment while reminiscing about key moments in her life, inspired by the items she's sorting through. As she packs she and her husband relive their romance. She faces a decision: whether to carry their memories with her or leave them behind.
