**This production contains depictions of physical abuse and implications of suicide, death due to abortion, and sexual abuse, as well as featuring simulated sex. Spring Awakening is an extremely important story, but it is one that is told through potentially triggering content to view. It is imperative that audiences are aware of the intense content before viewing. But they should also be aware of the intention of the content, and that it does not exist merely to cause trauma or anger. Rather, these depictions reflect the realities of living in a world dominated by corrupt systems that create unequal and unjust experiences and outcomes. However, it is also important to note that these are not easy topics to digest, and that if at any moment during the performance you need to step out, we encourage you to do so. In the theatre, you will have access to a list of when potentially triggering content will be occurring on stage in order to allow those that need to step out the time to do so.
