Atacamaöknen Àr en av de torraste platserna pÄ jorden, landskapet Àr storslaget med vulkaniska slÀtter, vattenhÄl skapade av tryck inifrÄn jorden och natthimlar som sammanflÀtar mÀnsklig existens med kosmos, vilket öppnar upp för reflektion.
I Transatlantic Diaries visar Flor och Lisa verk frÄn sin residensresa till Atacamaöknen i Chile.
En resa dÀr vi utforskade mellanförskapets tillstÄnd, identitet och hur föremÄl och ritualer Àr avgörande för skapandet av oss sjÀlva, en röd trÄd i bÄda vÄra konstnÀrskap.
La Wayaka Current Àr ett konstnÀrsdrivet residens i Atacamaöknen i Chile som
samarbetar med ursprungsbefolkningen Lickan Antays hos vilka vi bodde under residenset.

The Atacama Desert is one of the driest places on Earth, and its landscape feels otherworldly, with volcanic plains, water pools formed by pressure from within the Earth, and night skies that intertwine human existence with the cosmos, opening space for reflection.
In Transatlantic Diaries, Flor and Lisa present works created during their residency in the Atacama Desert in Chileâ
a journey in which we explored states of in-betweenness, identity, and the ways objects and rituals shape our sense of self, a theme that runs through both of our artistic practices.
La Wayaka Current is an artist-run residency in the Atacama Desert in Chile that
collaborates with the indigenous Lickan Antays with whom we stayed during the residency.
