WHAT: Planting tree at Midway Peace Park + tree giveaway to qualified St. Paul residents WHEN: Thursday, October 16th
1:00 - 3:00 pm: Join your neighbors in planting trees! Midway Peace Park is a new park less than 5 years old. The park is a vital recreational space for the community.
The trees planted by Great River Greening and community volunteers will provide a vital shading and cooling resource as well as add beauty to the park.
Volunteers will plant new
shade trees into pre-dug holes. Gloves and hand tools will be
provided.
3:00 pm - 6:30 pm: St. Paul residents living in qualifying areas of the city will be able to receive a free tree to plant in their yard!
