Local 406 is back from hiatus with their signature Irish and Scottish jigs and songs as well as Americana pieces like Cotton Eyed Joe, Red Wing, and Cripple Creek. We are mostly retired people who enjoy getting together occasionally to play with friends and enjoy music, smiles, and maybe a glass of wine if possible. The present group includes Jeff Long on EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument), Rachel Larson Long on harmonica, Lynn Halderman on Irish drum, Sandi Shawhan on guitar, Bill Morgan and Rita Wells on violin, and our very own Padre (Fr. Wayne Pittard) on stand-up bass.
