St. Patrick's Day Luncheon 2025

This year's MC will be the Honorable Anne McDonough, Judge at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. Judge McDonough was elected to the Juvenile Court in 2022. Judge McDonough, a graduate of the Ohio State University and the Cleveland State University College of Law, has previously served as a juvenile court magistrate, a staff attorney in the Court of Common Pleas, and as a Cuyahoga County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.

Our guest speaker will be John Myers. John is a prominent figure in Cleveland's Irish community, known for his contributions as an author and journalist. He co-authored the book Irish Cleveland with Judith G. Cetina, Ph.D., which explores the history and impact of Irish immigrants in the Cleveland area. John is also associated with the iIrish news magazine, which covers various topics, including arts, reviews, and events related to Irish culture.

The Irish Goodfellowship Club is privileged and honored to name as the IRISH GOOD PERSON OF THE YEAR, MARK OWENS, Honorary Consul of Ireland (Ohio) and Vice President of Marketing at Team NEO. Born in Derry City, Ireland, Mark moved to Cleveland in 2001 having previously studied at John Carroll University as part of the Study USA scholarship program to support students in the North of Ireland. He is actively involved with the Irishtown Bend Park Project in Cleveland, serving on both the Strategy and Development and Irish Heritage Committees.
