About this Event

Join Camden Council's Parks Team for a guided walk through St Pancras Gardens to discover the trees growing on your doorstep.

We'll learn how to identify different tree species and discuss the important role they play in supporting wildlife in our urban environment.

You don't need to be a nature enthusiast or know anything about trees to join us. Whether you're interested in learning something new, getting outdoors, or meeting others, everyone is welcome.

This event is part of National Tree Week (21–29 November 2026), which marks the start of the annual tree planting season.

This year's theme, 'Trees Near You', celebrates the trees we encounter in our everyday lives, from those lining our streets and growing in parks to those in school grounds and community spaces.

These trees provide vital habitats for wildlife, support our wellbeing and help make our neighbourhoods healthier and greener. National Tree Week is an opportunity to discover, appreciate and care for the trees right on our doorstep.
