The Feast of St. John the Baptists has been celebrated by Christians since the 4th Century. The Eve of St. John is a very special festival to commemorate the life and ministry of the Baptists. As we enter Summer and the days grow longer, we recall the waning light of St. John who said "I must decrease" and the growing light of our Lord who shines brighter and brighter.
The Eve of St. John is marked bonfires, candles, flowers, barbecues, and many other festivities. Join us as we celebrate this momentous time of year!
