ST. JOHNS COUNTY OVERDOSE AWARENESS SEMINAR
The National Center for Drug Abuse Statistics (NCDAS) reports that youth drug abuse is a high-profile public health concern, with at least 1-in-8 teenagers abusing an illicit substance in the last year. NCDAS also reports that among Americans aged 12 years and older, 31.9 million are current illegal drug users (used within the last 30 days).
The Overdose Awareness Seminar is our effort to lower those statistics. You'll hear from experts in the community that work within the substance abuse field and get valuable resources to take home.
Hear Crosswater Community Church's Pastor Jack Millwood share his personal story and why he is so passionate about bringing awareness to the opioid crisis.
