St. James Play Date - Save the Date!When: Saturday, June 12. Indoor arena will be available for up to 4 TROD riders in 30-minute intervals between 11 and 1. You can sign up for a slot at 11, 11:30, 12 or 12:30. Please email [email protected] for a reservation/time. All riders must have a signed waiver and coggins on file before using indoor arena, which is a glorious facility and one you will enjoy riding in.
Where: Indoor arena and Outdoor arena at St James Farm; 2S541 Winfield Rd, Warrenville, IL 60555.
What: A day to introduce your horse to some new challenges and hang out with similar horse enthusiasts. Obstacles used in trail competitions (rope gate to open, teeter totter bridge, trot poles in patterns, etc) will be set up in indoor arena, outdoor arena will include trot poles and barrels you can use to practice your own patterns. A $10 donation for a reserved indoor arena time is recommended to help us defray costs.
Who: You and your horse!
Why: It's fun, it's challenging and you and your horse will enjoy it.
As an added bonus, TROD members will then lead a trail ride and tour of this DuPage County Forest Preserve property at 12:15 and 1: 15. Those interested in the trail ride can meet up at those times between the indoor and outdoor arena. Please join us! We look forward to seeing you and having a fun day with our horses.
