As part of a series of fringe events celebrating the life and legacy of John West-Burnham join us at St Helen's Primary School, where you will witness the incredible work of the school's EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) group. The afternoon will showcase young voices and the school’s youth led Inclusion programme.

Explore various topics close to John's heart and engage in meaningful discussions with like minded individuals.

Highlights of the day include:

• "60 Seconds to Change the World" Speeches: Hear powerful and diverse perspectives from young people as they share what truly matters to them.
• "Smash the Stereotype" Project: Explore creative and impactful youth led efforts to challenge and combat stereotypes.
• Celebrating Diversity through Storytelling: Discover how young people are engaging with themes of migration and refugee experiences through poetry and personal narratives.
• Defining Equity: Gain insight into what equity means within St Helen's school community, presented by a talented young writer.

This is a unique opportunity to see firsthand how the school has developed an inclusive and empowering environment. We look forward to welcoming you!

Parking

Guests can park in the main University Car Park, Long Street, IP4 1LQ from 1pm-9.00pm. Guests must pay to park either via the machines in the car park or the RingGo app.

Please do not park in The Hold car park, as you will receive a PCN.
