ALANNAH THORNBURGH (LIVE)
Alannah Thornburgh is an award-winning instrumentalist and composer from the wild west of Ireland with a focus on traditional Irish harp. Alannah’s music explores her family heritage, reimagining melodies from the Irish harping and American folk & jazz traditions. This cross-genre interaction and juxtaposition of old melodies with contemporary harmonies and technique is interwoven throughout her music, described as being ‘unforced, fluid and utterly at home in her own sound’ (The Irish Times). In February 2025, Alannah released her debut album ‘Shapeshifter’ - a collection of compositions inspired by fairy folklore & mythology in rural Ireland (“Sublime debut from Mayo composer” 9/10 - Hot Press). Alannah was awarded ‘Best Folk Instrumentalist’ at the 2025 RTÉ Folk Awards and she is the current Musician-In-Residence at Carnegie Library, Fingal County Council / Music Network.
LITTLE O and PALS (DJ)
Little O is a global club music DJ based in Dublin, Ireland. Influenced by her love of dancing and globetrotting, Little O’s sets are full of upbeat sounds from around the world, blending a mix of global bass, afrohouse, batida and more. Check out her monthly show on Dublin Digital Radio, The Little O Show.
MOODY C (DJ)
Hayley Connolly is a DJ drawn to the weird, the vibrant and the brilliantly askew. Her sets slip between mutant disco, space funk, rare soul and strange, shimmering electronics. She has played festivals including Beyond the Pale and Electric Picnic, and held residencies at Dublin venues such as The Big Romance, Lucky’s and The Circular. Beyond her work behind the decks, she has performed with cabaret acts including Monsieur Pompier’s Travelling Freakshow and Big Chief Random Chaos. When not on stage, she lives off-grid, growing mystical plant life far from the dancefloor.
LEON STAX (LIVE)
The Leon Stax Equation are a 6 piece Soul band based in Galway. They formed in 2023 and have been blazing a trail on the Irish music scene and even as far as Europe and the USA in that short time. The Equation is driven by funky drumming from band leader Leon Stax with a heavy downbeat, simple, melodic basslines, scratchy rhythm guitars and familiar yet original lyrics. Their live performance goes on a journey from smooth slow soul music to raucous upjumped funk. In the studio they self produce all of their own releases, with plenty of use of tape and analog emulation to get that warm nostalgic sound. They record their tracks live in the style of the 1960s soul and rock classics. They are a busy performing live band. They have toured extensively in Ireland with concerts at Electric Picnic, Fuinneamh, Elu Le Gra and most recently 7 packed out shows at Cork Jazz Festival. Spring 2026 is set to be action packed for the LSE with dates to launch their third album, an Irish and UK tour and even a tour of the U.S.A.
CHIEF KEEGAN (LIVE)
Emerging from Dublin, Ireland, Chief Keegan released their debut album, The Piles High Club in early 2024 which is garnering rave reviews and showcasing their tight grooves and catchy hooks. The quartet of keyboardist Luke Dunford, guitarist Mark Dudley, bassist Alan Elliott, and drummer Cian Hanley have quickly established itself on the Irish music scene and have brought their "feel-good music” to festivals such as Electric Picnic, Cork Jazz Festival, and the Bray Jazz Festival as well as touring relentlessly throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. Never an act to cool their heels, the band has also released 3 EPs which received countrywide adoration and the attention of such fellow luminaries as Eddie Roberts, Eddie Barbash, Big Sam Williams, Scott Amendola, Joe Marcinack, Funkwrench Blues, Richard Farrell and Mélia, whom have all added their personal sonic mojo to various Chief Keegan recordings. While some are still shaking their heads in wonder that the tiny island of Ireland has produced the deepest jam/groove/funk/jazz instrumental outfit to emerge onto the worldwide scene in years, it’s a ride that’s starting for the Chief as they are already hard at work recording album #2 and are about to start dropping new singles with some mighty musical guests...
