We’ll be holding our next beach clean on Saturday 1 March, 10.30 – 12.00. The meeting point is St Bridget’s Kirk, https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZmkUoTFti9MB5bi27

Please note this is a different location to our usual meeting point at the pumping station, hopefully it is a bit easier for people to access.
Though we encourage you to walk or cycle if possible, you can park sensibly on Moray Way South and walk along the coastal path to the Kirk. Please car share if possible and let us know if you have any questions about how to get there. There is a short walk of three or four minutes from the meeting point to the beach we’ll be cleaning.
There’s no need to register, but it would be helpful if you could let us know you’re coming so we have an idea of the numbers to expect.
We will provide litter pickers and bin bags and we also have gloves, but please bring your own sticks and gloves if you have them. Wellies and warm, waterproof old clothes are also recommended.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We cannot accept children who are dropped off by their parents. The event is covered by Surfers Against Sewage public liability insurance. We will recycle as much of the collected waste as possible ourselves, the landfill waste will be removed by the FCCT litter team.
If you are unable to make it on the day but would like to help out, please get in touch, there are lots of other bits of the shoreline that could use a helping hand, but there is no point doing the same stretch that we will be doing anyway.
Look forward to seeing you there 😊.
