SSCCC Professional Development and Leadership Training

The Student Senate for California Community Colleges events bring together student leaders from the 116 California Community Colleges. During the Professional Development and Leadership Event, attendees gather tools and tips on how to be effective student leaders, representatives, and advocates. Students have the opportunity to network with student leaders across the state, learn about current initiatives, and identify opportunities to become involved with the SSCCC.

The event will be held both in-person and online. For those who are attending in person, we want all our attendees to have a wonderful time while feeling safe in the current Covid-19 environment. All in-person attendees will be required to be vaccinated and provide proof prior to attending the event. While in-person, you will also be required to wear a mask and social distance. If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to attend online.

Those attending the event online will have access to all the general session presentations and two breakout sessions. The sessions will be streamed live and you will be able to engage in the conversation with the presenter and ask questions in real-time.
