SS Trailway Ride

Best Kind Rides is planning a full-day group ride on the Southern Shore Trailway.
We’ll be meeting at the Northern Pond Road Trailhead at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, then heading out on the SS Trailway and riding as far as time allows before turning back.
This ride is open to dual-sports, dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, and anyone with a trail-capable machine who wants to come along.
The goal is simple: get out for a good day on the trail, meet other riders, and help build more of a dirt bike / dual-sport riding community here in Newfoundland.
This is not a race, not a hard-enduro event, and not a guided tour with a guaranteed full route. We’ll keep the pace reasonable, respect the trail, and adjust the day based on the group, trail conditions, time, and weather.
Bring:
Fuel, water, snacks, tools, rain gear, spare layers, and whatever you need for a full day outside.
Please ride within your limits, respect other trail users, and make sure your machine is in good working order before showing up.
