Program Details
- For students ages 7 to 17
- Auditions: Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Iron Horse Middle School between 9am and 1pm during a specified time slot
- NOTE: NO REFUNDS PERMITTED ONCE SHOW HAS BEEN CAST
- Classes: Every Tuesday and Friday from September 21, 2021 to December 17, 2021 from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
- Saturday Rehearsals: October 16 and November 6, time tbd plus a MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, December 11 from 9am - 4pm
- Performances: Thursday, December 16 at 7pm, Friday, December 17 at 7pm, Saturday, December 18 at 2pm, and Saturday, December 18 at 7pm
- Location: Iron Horse Middle School MPR for all classes, Saturday rehearsals and performances
- Cost: $750 which includes scripts, costumes, supplies, materials, consumables and a cast t-shirt; note payment can be made in 3 monthly payments of $250 each through Eventbrite
- Performance Tickets: Will be available for purchase starting in October

In this course, students will audition for, rehearse, and perform the musical "Oliver Jr.!". This course will develop acting, singing and dancing skills as students work collaboratively to create a show. Students will be “double cast” (two actors per role) but will perform in all shows. When not performing their main role, students will perform in the ensemble. Due to the cumulative and collaborative nature of performance, participants need to be committed to the class, attend regularly and be available for all Saturday Rehearsals and Performances. Additionally, no refunds will be allowed once the show has been cast.
The health and safety of our students, staff, their families, and the community at large is our top priority. SRVEF is following the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Contra Costa Health Services. Guidelines will be strictly observed. We will be updating our protocols and procedures as guidelines change.
