WE NEED YOUR HELP!Adopt-A-Street is a volunteer program in Kansas City, Missouri. Streets within the city limits are available for adoption by groups, families, and organizations that want to beautify and positively impact our community.
Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association's two stretches are Roberts, from Benton to Myrtle, and Thompson, from Benton to Myrtle. We will work in coordination with KCMO to remove trash from these two streets in Scarritt.
SRNA will have a limited amount of gloves, vests, pickers/grabbers, and bags. If you have your own equipment, please bring it to the event to help with our limited number of supplies.
We will meet at the corner of Thompson & Benton (heading east on Thompson) at 10:00am. You are more than welcome to come late and catch up with the group. The more people, the quicker the streets will be cleaned! We will safely collect trash and debris and leave the blue bags to be picked up at the next scheduled garbage day.
