Srishti: Dances of Creation and Devotion by Nrithyashala

Nrithyashala was founded in 1986 and is directed by Mrs. Janaki Sivaraman in Baltimore, MD. Nrithyashala serves the community, spreading awareness of the Indian culture, preserving the classical Indian art form of Bharatanatyam, and passing on this divine art to future generations.

Under the guidance of Artistic Choreography Director Dr. Anita Sivaraman, we are excited to introduce the Nrithyashala Dance Company, composed of advanced students who have dedicated themselves to the art of dance beyond their solo debut performance, or arangetram. Come witness the Nrithyashala Dance Company's debut production accompanied by a live music ensemble, featuring innovative group choreographies that take you on a spiritual journey through Hindu mythology.
