Squad Patrol – Dark. Literate. Mildly classy...but not too classy. This is a long-form sketch show. That means each show has themes, motifs, recurring characters, and a loose approximation of plot. We're telling a story, but not just any story--a world of stories told through jokes: cat detectives; sexual tension on construction job sites; Chuck E. Cheese flashbacks; the pathos of good grammar; a Christmas murder mystery; etc. All ostentatiously expressed through flamboyant costumes, cardboard props, original songs and videos, sound effects and gratuitous spot-lighting, and of course, verbose language replete with the swears. Hey, we can't have people thinking this is theatre.
