About this Event

Spryfield Community Lunch, Learn and Care

July 27th (rain date July 28th)From 10:30am to 1:30pm (Lunch is Included!)

Hartlen Park (Lois Lane/St-Michaels Ave.)

Join us at Hartlen park for a community building nature discovery! We will meet at 10.30am and take a moment to introduce ourselves. The amazing Dalhousie Bird Society volunteers Hannah and Sasha will lead a guided walk on the nearby MacIntosh trail. During this educational and insightful nature walk you will learn about birding best practices and species identification. Hannah and Sasha will be bringing tools and games to make the walk even more engaging. They are thrilled to answer all your questions!

After the walk, we will be serving a free lunch (vegan and gluten free option). We hope you plan to stick around and get to know your neighbors! As a way to show our gratitude for mother nature, we invite all the participants to take part in the litter pick up. We will have clean up supplies available on site.

To help us prepare for the event, please reserve your free ticket through Eventbrite.
