Step into Spring with experienced local printmaker Liz Freedman as she takes you through the basics of how to create a single colour linocut print inspired by the Flora and Fauna of Spring. Participants will have the chance to design, cut and print their own linocut supported along the way by Liz. No experience or materials required but do bring along some photos if you have some specific you want to work from.

A little bit about our maker
Liz is a printmaker from Gloucestershire. Working primarily in collagraph, mono print and linocut, her work focuses on the landscape of the British Isles, from rugged cliff faces to rolling Cotswold hills. Working from her home studio, she likes to create prints that explore the shapes, lines and textures of the landscape around me, sometimes focusing on the small details and other times trying to capture a sense of place. Liz loves the dynamic process of printmaking and the decision making one has to make along the way; it is a process where you are constantly learning. We are delighted to be hosting some workshops with Liz, sharing her joy of printmaking.
