The first annual Springfield Battle of the Badges Hockey Tournament. This will initially be open to first responder teams from all over the country. Springfield, MO is very centrally located in the country with 2 sheets of NHL size ice at our local ice rink. Springfield is the home of Bass Pro Shops, Cashew Chicken, and Brad Pitt.
The cost is going to be $1700 per team and will guarantee you 4 games over the weekend. There will be an early bird discount of only $1600 per team until June 30. We are planning on breaking up into at least 2 divisions, possible 4 depending on the number of registrations.
The profits from this tournament will benefit the Local 152 Peer Support Team and also the Local 152 Hockey Club.
Hotel accommodation options will be coming soon with many Air BnB options as well. We will also have a social at a local brewery on the Friday night.
