It is time we shed the notion that the only plausible path to future success is through a four-year degree. This traditional pathway is simply not a fit for everyone. The reality is an education from a community or technical college can lead to a future just as fulfilling, not to mention lucrative, as an expensive university experience. Meanwhile, the need for skilled workers by our region’s employers is at an all-time high, with many offering financial support programs aimed at students to receive training, with jobs waiting for them on the other side.Join us Wednesday, June 30th for an informative and eye-opening look at the opportunities available to students from our region’s trade schools and technical colleges.
