Get ready for springtime fun in the Arizona sun! Vandals are headed to the Grand Canyon State March 20–22 for a weekend of relaxation, connection and friendly competition. Join U of I Alumni Association Executive Director Vicki Sell and fellow alumni and friends for Major League Baseball spring training and our annual Vandal Golf Tournament.Friday, March 20 | MLB Spring Training and VIP Experience
Kick off the weekend with a Vandal-exclusive baseball experience at the Peoria Sports Complex. Enjoy discounted tickets, a VIP pavilion in the outfield and an all-you-can-eat dinner while cheering on the San Diego Padres.
Game: Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres
Date: Friday, March 20
Time: Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Mountain time. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. with the first pitch at 6:10 p.m.
Location: Peoria Sports Complex 16101 N. 83rd Avenue, Peoria, Arizona
Tickets: $70 per person
Includes game ticket and all-you-can-eat dinner featuring all-beef hot dogs, grilled chicken breast, loaded macaroni salad, baked beans, assorted cookies and non-alcoholic beverages (water, lemonade, iced tea). A no-host bar will be available.
