Join us at Ormeau Park for a fun and relaxed morning of birdwatching! Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned birder, this event is perfect for folk of all backgrounds. Mark your calendar for May 17th, 2026 at 10:00 AM (BST) and get ready to step into nature, appreciate the birds around us, and meet fellow bird lovers. The FBC is dedicated to providing an inclusive space for women, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC, all are welcome and no bigotry is tolerated. Most birding is accessible from paths through the park, and we may stray onto the grass for a better look, but all are welcome to explore at their own pace.

Some spare guides and binoculars will be available on the day, but these can be shared! Toilets are available at the Ormeau Embankment.
