Discover migrating songbirds thriving in the lush spring meadows and forests of the Sun, Wind and Woodland Preserve. Birds we might find include migrant thrushes, warblers, tanagers, breeding yellow-bellied sapsuckers, eastern towhees, and blue-headed vireos. Hike led by Jay Kaplan, Land Trust Director and Roaring Brook Nature Center Director.
Tick protection, shoes suitable for mud, and binoculars are recommended. This hike is not geared toward young children, and please leave dogs at home. It will be canceled in case of rain.
