Spring Sing 2023!

Join Dessislava Stefanova, Molara Awen and Anna Tabbush for a day of glorious harmony singing. All ages and abilities welcome. No previous musical experience required - all music will be taught by ear in fun, relaxed workshops. Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day and there is plenty of free parking at the venue. Spring Sing usually sells out so please book early to avoid disappointment.

About this year's tutors...

Dessi grew up singing the songs of her native Bulgaria. She went on to become a professional singer with the renowned Philip Koutev Bulgarian National Folk Ensemble. Since 2000 she has been working in the UK performing in various art forms, recording film and game soundtracks (Troy, Elizabeth the Virgin Queen, Borat , HALO, Our Universe and many more) and delivering workshops. She is founder and leader of the London Bulgarian Choir. Dessi is Bulgarian Woman of the Year 2017.

Molara is an inspirational singer, songwriter, performer and artist, who was a founder member of Zion Train, and has worked with the likes of Femi Kuti; Baka Beyond and Ruts DC. She started One Voice Choir in 2005 to celebrate her love of international harmonies and rhythms, and was one of the founders of NAVF in 2008. She is a former trustee of the Natural Voice Network, and has delivered educational provision of music and the arts to people aged 0 to 106, of differing abilities and backgrounds since 1992.

Anna is a community choir leader, choral arranger, singer and multi-instrumentalist based in Midhurst, West Sussex. She teaches traditional and contemporary songs from Britain and around the world plus her own compositions which have been sung by choirs up and down the country and around the world. Anna has conducted and composed for community choirs for over 20 years and has set up over 20 choirs in that time. She will get you singing, smiling and sounding gorgeous within minutes.
