Why: For fun and to bless the kids at the Nias Orphange & Operation Christmas Child kids
You are invited to the Girl’s on a Mission-Having Fun for a Purpose, Quirky Quarter Auction on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. We will be using the auditorium at Calvary Church, 1730 West Jefferson, Springfield, IL. (Please park in the parking lot behind the church and enter through the glass doors) Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the program and auction will start at
6:15 p.m. The entry cost is $5.00 which includes your auction paddle, drinks and desserts. Additional auction paddles are $1.00 each if you would like to have more than one. You can also purchase an "all in" paddle for the evening so you can be entered on every item being auctioned. The cost for that paddle will be $25.00.
The Missions department of Calvary Church will be having a delicious Pasta dinner the night of the auction. You will be able to purchase dinner for $8.00 from them if you would like.
There will be 60+ items up for auction and 35 door prizes awarded. If you have never attended a Quarter Auction don't worry they are easy and we will help you get started! The evening will feature mystery items, fun surprises, bonuses and double prizes! So grab a roll of quarters and come on out for an evening of dessert, door prizes, laughter and fun!
This event will be open seating. If you would like to reserve a table of 9, let us know and we will save one for you. Please let us know if you are coming so we can pre-register you and have a count for desserts.
We are adding a new way to pay in advance If you would like to purchase your paddles in advance you can now do that through Paypal. Send us a message and we will send you the information and your packet will be waiting for you at the check in desk with no waiting!
We will be collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly, ziplock baggies (no fold overs), for our homeless PBJ sandwich making group and kids sunglasses, beanie babies, dolls and SMALL new toys for Operation Shoebox. For each item you bring to donate you will receive a ticket to place in the drawing for prizes. So bring these items and bless the homeless of Springfield and children of the world all while getting a chance to win a great prize!
Don't forget to bring any Bibles, Christian books or materials you are no longer using for Love Packages to be sent to people in other countries.
All proceeds will be donated to the Nias Orphanage in Indonesia and Operation Christmas Child. Let's get together and have fun and bless some children.
