Spring Plant Swamp & Live Music Gators Show at Green Mesquite

Come share what's growing, go home with something new, and grab some BBQ while you're at it.

We're bringing the Austin plant community together for an evening swap at Green Mesquite on Friday, May 8th. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is a low-key, high-vibe way to connect with your neighbors, share knowledge, and expand your plant collection without spending a dime.

Bring any of the following to swap:

- Cuttings and propagations

- Potted plants or seedlings

- Extra pots or containers

- Soil, amendments, or fertilizer

- Tools you no longer need

- Gardening tips, advice, or just good conversation

The swap runs from 5pm until dark (around 8pm), so come hungry and settle in. Green Mesquite's BBQ will be going all night, and Gators take the stage at 7pm with their signature live swamp rock to keep the evening rolling.

No ticket needed. No rules. Just show up, share what you've got, and leave with something you didn't have before.
