Spring Lift Off!

A co-ed pairs weightlifting competition featuring max lifts and a barbell ladder challenge. Grab a partner and test your strength!

Who: Anyone who loves to get under a heavy barbell. Co-ed teams of 2.

When: Saturday, March 28, 2026 | First heat starts at 10:00 AM

Where: Stonehenge Weightlifting, 2000 Windy Terrace, Unit B, Cedar Park, TX 78613

Each team competes in one heat containing two events.

EVENT 1: MAX LIFT (20 minutes)

One teammate snatches, the other clean & jerks. Build to a 1RM in as many attempts as you want, alternating as needed. Only one lifter on the platform at a time. Your best completed lift counts toward your Event 1 score.

EVENT 2: BARBELL LADDER (11 minutes total)

Four 2-minute rounds with 1-minute transitions. Snatch, clean, or deadlift the barbell for points. Switch lifters whenever you want.

Scoring: Deadlift = 1 pt | Clean = 3 pts | Snatch = 5 pts

Prescribed Weights:

• Round 1: 95/65 lbs (43/29.5 kg)
• Round 2: 135/95 lbs (61.2/43 kg)
• Round 3: 185/135 lbs (83.9/61.2 kg)
• Round 4: 225/155 lbs (102/70.3 kg)
