Spring into Poetry (Ages 14+) - Saturday, April 26 (2-4 pm) In celebration of National Poetry Month, please join Coeur d’Alene Poet Laureate Jennifer Passaro for a generative writing workshop outdoors in the park behind the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. We will be embracing the natural world as a catalyst of writing, being, and mindful practice. Scott Gittens, yoga therapist and certified international yoga teacher, will lead workshop participants in a 20-minute welcoming yoga flow. Gain a sense of empowerment in your ability to step into the world of poetry; move your body and your pen in a fun, inclusive environment! This workshop is for all levels and abilities, please wear comfortable clothing and layers, we will meet in the Community Room and then venture outside! Bring a yoga mat, water, and something to write on. Registration is encouraged!
