The 336-page guide covers the entire county, from the Salish Sea to the North Cascades, and is available in the Northwest Stream Center. He is also the author of Hiking Whatcom County, plus his newest guide, Hiking Island County (April 2025). Now semi-retired (and having way too much fun), Ken worked for decades as a trail planning and design consultant serving communities throughout western Washington.
