About this Event
Celebrate the beauty of the season at this Springtime Jewelry Workshop, where nature and artistry come together using real leaves and fine silver precious metal clay. This hands-on experience captures the delicate textures of spring—each vein, curve, and edge preserved forever in shimmering silver.
In this guided workshop, you’ll learn how to press real leaves into precious metal clay to create stunning, nature-inspired jewelry. Once fired, the clay transforms into solid fine silver, revealing intricate botanical details unique to your chosen leaf. Create a pendant, earrings, or charm that reflects the fresh energy of spring and your personal style.
Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop is a relaxing, creative escape filled with organic beauty and inspiration. All tools and materials are provided—just bring your love of nature and creativity. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of fine silver jewelry and a lasting reminder of spring in bloom. 🌿✨

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with 1 hour lunch break)
Workshop fee: $125
Use a fresh-picked real leaf to create a beautiful pendant, charm or earrings. You will receive 10 grams of fine silver metal clay, and learn how to roll the leaf into the clay to replicate the texture of the real thing. From there you will design and craft your own beautiful bijou. You can make and add a cute embellishment or sparkling cubic zirconia if you like! Included in the materials fee is one pair of sterling silver ear wires or one silk or rubber cord. We will fire and finish the pieces in the workshop. Pieces that are not completed will be finished by the instructor and can be picked up at the studio the following week.
Don't miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make stunning jewelry pieces to cherish or gift to loved ones. See you there!
Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio is in FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando - a vintage 1950s era motel that has been converted into artist studios. Located just off Colonial Drive/Highway 50 near I-4, we are conveniently located at the north end of downtown Orlando. Using the address 718 Highland Ave. will take you to the first parking lot. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!
