Spring Foraging ForayBefore there were grocery stores conveniently located in communities, people had to survive by using what they found in nature. Spring is a great time of year to harvest some of the most useful and delicious plants and fungi of the forest. Join our Ray Harral naturalist on a walk to look for these as we share tips, tricks and the history of collecting and using these wild edibles.
The purpose of this event is to educate the community and enjoy the outdoors together, not forage.
